Unwind, slow down and explore

40 acres of ancient woodland

Guests are free to explore the farm's semi-natural ancient woodland of oak, birch, ash, hazel, wild cherry and alder. Around 4km of paths and trails wind through it, with swings and spots for a barbecue or campfire along the way.

In May the woodland floor turns blue with bluebells. Over 60 species of birds have been recorded here, including red kites, buzzards, tawny owls, nuthatches and great spotted woodpeckers. Come in spring for a dawn chorus to remember.
